Beautiful place. It's not that far from Milan. Perfect destination for one day trip. City has typical Italian character, with big open squares and astonishing architecture. What's more it's very quiet there… old part of the town is closed for cars and it makes a big difference compared to Milan for example.

Torino has Egyptian museum, one of the biggest in the world… as I was
told. Italians were the first to discover many of the ancient tombs.
Impressive collection of statues, mummies and examples of fine Egyptian
art-craft. It was shocking to me to see how precise and skilled
they were at that time. These objects definitely don't look like 3000
years old… details are simply amazing.

something from the footwear field - Egyptian sandals.
and don't forget - the chocolate tour! This city is famous of local
chocolate production. You can
find many stores located around the city. All of them in the walking
distance.
