adidas adiSTAR RIDE 2 Woman shoes | 30 january 2010 W's adiSTAR RIDE 2 has similar design language as M's but it was modified based on the specific needs of female consumer. This shoe has new bottom designed for Women. There are few differences, first - is more centered heel bevel (Women tends to land a bit more to the middle), second - softer EVA, third - more flexible forefoot with deeper flex grooves and the forth - more cushy blown rubber. Upper has similar construction as M's with stretchy panel around the stripe and mesh underlays. You can find big difference on the medial side though. There is a soft and elastic zone around first head of the Metatarsal bone to offer better comfort for Women with bunion problems. More detailed photos below:
