adidas adiSTAR RIDE 2 shoes | 30 january 2010 Ride 2 Man's and W's are the first models from the adiSTAR family that I designed. It is a top adidas running range. Man's AdiSTAR RIDE 2 is build on existing bottom from the Ride 1 but heel EVA piece and rubber under the FORMOTION was modified to give better cushioning. Some innovations were placed on the upper. For example the stretch panel around the middle stripe to give better upper torsionablity and snugger mid-foot fit. Forefoot fit is provided by suede mesh underlays. As a main upper material I used very breathable and see-through mesh. Ride 2 is a shoe for Neutral runners. Please note that shoe on photos is an earlier prototype, final version had to be modified based on testing feedback.
